Llamas Join the Solar Farm Maintenance Team

The Shoalhaven Community Solar Farm has recruited two Llamas (named KillerWatt and TerrorWatt) to help keep site vegetation under control and to protect the team of sheep already on the site.

The Solar Farm, operated by Shoalhaven Energy Project P/L for Flow Power, has completed its second year of operation and achieved the forecast generation target of 5,900MWh (enough clean energy for 1,100 homes). The emissions reduction from the clean energy produced by the Solar Farm is enough to offset over 1,000 cars. Community investors will be receiving their second round of loan principal and interest payments through Repower Shoalhaven.

Thank you to the Shoalhaven Energy Project and Flow Power for the photograph and for all their efforts in maintaining this clean energy project.
