Our Projects

Repower Shoalhaven’s mission is to facilitate the development and implementation of renewable energy to deliver positive outcomes for local communities on the South Coast and SE of NSW. We are working with regional businesses, local government and community groups to achieve this aim.

Current Rooftop Systems

Repower Shoalhaven is managing 21 commercial rooftop solar systems on behalf of our community investors and the host businesses. This involves:

  • Monitoring solar system performance against project expectations;
  • Undertaking any necessary system repairs and maintenance;
  • Billing host businesses for solar generation in line with their power purchase agreements; and,
  • Distributing interest income and principle repayments to community investors

Once the 10-year power purchase agreement period ends for each of the seven Repower Pty Ltd companies, then the systems will transfer to the host businesses.

Advocacy

In conjunction with ZeroSE we have developed the Shoalhaven Energy Plan to encourage widespread adoption of solar energy, electric vehicles and energy efficiency measures. We will be working with all elements of the community to foster the adoption of clean energy and reduce our carbon emissions.
